Miguel Gori is an experienced art director, creative director and photographer with a great eye for detail.

One of the highlights of his career is, when he was asked to become Art Director of the Dutch Vogue. For six years, he developed and took care of the brand and magazine in the Netherlands.
After his period with Vogue, Miguel decide to turn his focus fully back on his first passion: photography. Of course, now using his extensive knowledge of art and fashion. As a photographer, he is exploring the impact of intimate portraits and subjects like street fashion.

Back to the beginning. Miguel’s story started in the Netherlands and Italy; the two countries where he grew up. First, he completed his study at the Art School in Italy. Then continued his studies in the Netherlands at Art Academy Sint Joost in Breda, specializing in Publicity and Graphic design.
After his studies, he returned to Milan (IT) to work in the studio of Ettore Sottsass, before working as an art director for brands such as Esprit and Mexx.

Soon after, Miguel co-founded an international multimedia agency, named Solar Initiative. The agency focuses on Art Direction, Graphic Design and Photography. In its cross-media field, where commercial assignments and art alternated and merged, Solar Initiative had several award-winning projects and multiple exhibitions. Some examples are the Red Dot Award (numerous occasions), the European Design Award, and the Mercurs Award (various occasions).
